Die Kunst von Maurice Fey setzt mit einer reduzierten Formsprache auf die Wirkung einzelner zumeist geometrischer Figuren und K\u00f6rper, wie auch deren Materialbeschaffenheit. Im Spannungsfeld von harten und fragilen Werkstoffen, von reinem Material und dessen Verfremdung versucht Fey die Grenzen seiner k\u00fcnstlerischen Mittel auszuloten. Sichtbar sind die Bearbeitungsspuren, die der K\u00fcnstler w\u00e4hrend des Farbauftrags sowie mit Rost- und Eisenpigmenten auf Stahl und Holz hinterl\u00e4sst.<\/p>\n

Sie sind Ausdruck eines transformatorischen Werkprozesses, legen die Phasen der Kunstproduktion offen und zeugen von Feys k\u00fcnstlerischem Experimentierwillen. Bewusst \u00fcberformt er sein Ausgangsmaterial und spielt mit den Materialzust\u00e4nden, wodurch seinen Arbeiten eine verst\u00f6rende Ambivalenz anhaftet, die zwischen Verfall, morbidem Charme und verspielten Akzenten oszilliert.
Provokant ragen pyramidenf\u00f6rmige Spitzen und Holzpfl\u00f6cke in den Raum und verleiten zusammen mit den strukturierten Oberfl\u00e4chen dazu, die Skulpturen und Plastiken auch haptisch erfahren zu wollen. F\u00fcr den K\u00fcnstler ist die Arbeit mit Metall, Holz und Beton selbst eine zutiefst k\u00f6rperliche Erfahrung, die sich auf das verwendete Material \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt und in dem Krafteinsatz und der Handfertigkeit bei der Materialbearbeitung zu Tage tritt.<\/p>\n

Als gelernter Industriemechaniker ist Fey den Umgang mit Rohstoffen und verschiedenen Fertigungsmethoden gewohnt und sch\u00f6pft bei der Auseinandersetzung mit den Hauptakteuren seiner sowohl bildhauerischen als auch grafischen Arbeiten aus diesem handwerklichen Wissen. Auch strukturell kn\u00fcpft Fey an die erworbenen F\u00e4higkeiten an und fertigt f\u00fcr seine Werke technische Vorzeichnungen und Baupl\u00e4ne. So verweisen auch die Kaltnadel- und \u00c4tzradierungen des K\u00fcnstlers einerseits auf eine intensive Besch\u00e4ftigung mit dem Material und andererseits auf eine systematische Vorgehensweise, die ihm von dem drucktechnischen Verfahren auferlegt wird. Feys Kunst bestimmt ein Interesse an der Vereinbarkeit und den Bearbeitungsm\u00f6glichkeiten verschiedener Werkstoffe und kommt einer Untersuchung von Oberfl\u00e4chenbeschaffenheiten gleich. Indem er in Metallplatten ritzt, chemische Reaktionen ausl\u00f6st und scharfkantige K\u00f6rper produziert, macht er sich die unbeugsame Grundsubstanz zu Eigen.<\/p>\n

Bei der Materialauswahl setzt der K\u00fcnstler zudem auf Stoffe, die auch im architektonisch-funktionalen Kontext Verwendung finden und rekurriert in seinen Arbeiten immer wieder auf Stilelemente, die brutalistischer und gotischer Kirchenarchitektur entlehnt sind. Schon fr\u00fch entwickelte Fey eine Faszination f\u00fcr den mystischen Charakter sakraler Bauten und f\u00fchlte sich zu der zwischenmenschlichen Erfahrung von Verbundenheit innerhalb des Christentums sowie den Antworten auf existenzielle Fragen \u2013 die ihn bis heute besch\u00e4ftigen \u2013 hingezogen. \u00a0W\u00e4hrend er Familie als durchaus instabiles Konstrukt variabler pers\u00f6nlicher Beziehungen begreift und damit k\u00e4mpfte seine Rolle im famili\u00e4ren Gef\u00fcge und als Drilling zu finden, boten ihm der christliche Glauben und die Religionsgemeinschaft einen R\u00fcckzugsort f\u00fcr seine pers\u00f6nliche Entfaltung. Neben der Spiritualit\u00e4t findet Fey in der Kunst ein Instrument, das ihm Best\u00e4ndigkeit gibt und ihm hilft seine emotionale Reise zwischen Familienleben und der Entwicklung einer eigenen Pers\u00f6nlichkeit \u2013 zwischen dem Bed\u00fcrfnis nach Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit und gelebter Vielf\u00e4ltigkeit \u2013 aufzuarbeiten. Das Spiel mit dem rohen Material, das aktive Formgeben ist insofern ein Akt der Selbstvergewisserung und Selbstverortung, durch den sich die Biografie und das Wesen des K\u00fcnstlers in die Arbeiten einschreiben. So sind auch Feys materialbetonte und fragmentarische Skulpturen, Plastiken und Grafiken bildgewordener Ausdruck seines inneren Verlangens die Welt zu durchdringen.<\/p>\n

Acht h\u00f6lzerne, nach oben offene Kisten stehen auf Paletten, jede von einer Infrarotlampe \u00fcberstrahlt. Eine der Kisten, verbrannt, mit Wachs und Gew\u00fcrznelken konserviert \u2013 beinahe balsamiert<\/i> \u2013 durchbricht die Ordnung. Sie verharrt zwischen Zerst\u00f6rung und Heilung. Zum Werk geh\u00f6rt ein Katalog, der zugleich Bau- und Bedienungsanleitung ist. Acht Exemplare h\u00e4ngen an der Wand, eine Anleitung zu jeder Kiste. Die Sprache technischer Pr\u00e4zision (\u201eAchtung! Schnittkanten k\u00f6nnen gef\u00e4hrlich sein.\u201c)<\/i><\/strong> kippt ins Poetische, sobald sie im Kontext der Kunst gelesen wird. Der Betrachter wird zum Komplizen eingeladen, den Bauplan als Geste zu verstehen \u2013 als Angebot, sich an einer Philosophie, die das Entstehen selbst zum Gegenstand macht, zu beteiligen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Atmosph\u00e4re der Installation reicht \u00fcber ihren industriellen Charakter hinaus. Ein kleines Kruzifix mit ge\u00e4tzten Kinderfotografien, hoch oben am vorderen Fl\u00fcgel der Ausstellung angebracht, verst\u00e4rkt die Ambivalenz. Auf den Fotografien sind Kinder zu sehen: wer sie sind, was sie dort bedeuten, ob es sich um Geschwister des K\u00fcnstlers handelt?, bleibt offen. Dieses Element oszilliert zwischen K\u00e4lte und Hoffnung, zwischen kindlichem Humor und der Ahnung von Gemeinschaft. Eine technische Zeichnung auf Paletten markiert Ma\u00dfe und Symmetrieachsen der Kisten,\u00a0 doch das beschriebene Objekt selbst fehlt. Die Kiste, Tr\u00e4ger einer philosophischen Idee, wird mithilfe dieser Grafik zu geistigem Material: Zum Abbild einer Form, die mehr denkt, als sie zeigt. Die Arbeit greift die Sprache der Produktion auf, um sie zu befragen. Ihre klare Systematik erzeugt keine Gewissheit, sondern Spannung.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Kisten erinnern an Brutk\u00e4sten, S\u00e4rge oder Versuchsanordnungen, an Orte, an denen Leben sich formt oder vergeht. Das Gleichma\u00df verweist auf das Prinzip der Wiederholung, w\u00e4hrend die W\u00e4rme der Lampen eine fragile Lebendigkeit andeutet: den Beginn, den ersten Atem, das Aufscheinen von Bewusstsein. Im Zentrum steht der Gedanke, dass wir unser eigenes Individuum \u00fcberlisten m\u00fcssen, um als Kollektiv zu bestehen, Einheit zu formen. Wir beginnen alle unter denselben Bedingungen. Diese Einheit ist kein Naturgesetz, wie im Stoizismus oder in antiken Vorstellungen des Kreislaufs, sondern eine soziale und geistige Aufgabe. Sie fragt nach der Best\u00e4ndigkeit des Miteinanders \u00fcber die Grenzen des Lebens hinaus. Ein Familiengrab, so schreibt Fey im Bezug auf kollektive Einheit nach dem Tod, ist keine Trag\u00f6die, sondern ein Potenzial, Einheit ins Ewige zu transportieren. Man verweilt zu leicht in der Vorstellung, dass alles rund um das Grab mit Nichtigkeit zu tun hat. Doch gerade diese Aura muss sublimiert werden. Das Ideal der Kollektivit\u00e4t wird zum Agens unseres Selbst. Darin liegt eine gro\u00dfe Idee: den Frieden am Ende gemeinsam zu erkunden. In einer Zeit, in der Individualit\u00e4t oft \u00fcber Gemeinschaft gestellt wird, erinnert das Familiengrab daran, dass niemand allein gegangen ist. Es ist weniger Abschied als Wiedervereinigung, ein Kollektivbewusstsein, das im Leben fragmentarisch, im Tod jedoch geschlossen erscheint. Die Idee des Familiengrabes ist keine Flucht vor dem Tod, sondern eine bewusste Hinwendung zum Leben, zu einem Miteinander, das \u00fcber den physischen Zerfall hinaus Bestand hat.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

So verweist die Installation nicht nur auf einen Menschlichen biologischen Impuls, sondern auf eine Form kollektiver Reproduktion, fabrikartig, wiederholbar, anonym. Sie ist kein Abbild des Lebens, sondern eine Metapher seiner Bedingungen: Schutz und Abh\u00e4ngigkeit, Energie und Ersch\u00f6pfung. \u201eDie Welt ist nicht nur ein Raum, sondern eine Aufgabe\u201c<\/i>,<\/strong> schreibt Fey in BRUT<\/i>. Die Arbeit \u00fcbersetzt diesen Satz in eine r\u00e4umliche Erfahrung. Sie verlangt keine Antwort, sondern Aufmerksamkeit. Zwischen W\u00e4rme und K\u00e4lte, Technik und Ritual, Objekt und Idee entfaltet sich ein stilles Drama: das des Lebens, das sich selbst hervorbringt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Im Kontext des Aufenthaltsstipendiums der Aldegrever-Gesellschaft e.V<\/i>.<\/b> sowie des Atelierstipendiums des Hawerkamp 31 e.V.<\/i><\/b> erscheint eine gleichnamige Publikation zur Ausstellung.<\/span>
Die Siegener Kunsthistorikerin Chiara Manon Bohn<\/i><\/b> beschreibt die Ausstellung wie folgt:<\/span><\/p>\n

Fritsch hinterfragt mit seriellen Objekten und verk\u00e4uflicher Kunst die Grenze zwischen Werk und Ware. Fey geht mit BRUT<\/i><\/b> einen Schritt weiter, indem er einen Katalog als Teil der Installation gestaltet, der zugleich Bauanleitung, Kunstobjekt und k\u00e4ufliches Produkt<\/i><\/b> ist. <\/strong>Im November 2025 realisierte ich im NoDepressionRoom, einer ehemaligen Apotheke\u00a0 \u2013 die Installation o.T.<\/span>
Der vollst\u00e4ndig wei\u00dfe Raum, (W\u00e4nde, Boden und Decke) sorgt f\u00fcr eine Absolute limitation von allem au\u00dfer den Objekten und betont somit die Leere. Eine Absolute sonderbare Umstand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Arbeit reagiert auf die sterile Architektur, die durch ihre Leere eine Verschiebung der Wahrnehmung erzeugt.<\/span>
In diesem Kontext entstand eine 3,20 Meter hohe Stahlskulptur, deren Oberfl\u00e4che durch S\u00e4ure ge\u00e4tzt wurde. Die sichtbaren Arbeitsspuren bilden ein zentrales Element. Die Spuren lassen sich als mentale Landschaften lesen, in denen Erinnerungen, Empfindungen und Zust\u00e4nde materialisiert erscheinen. Diese urbanen Hinterlassenschaften erz\u00e4hlen Geschichten und verweisen auf das Leben. Damit untersucht die Arbeit die Wahrnehmung von Zeichen, Symbolen und unsere Wirkung auf Prozesse des Zerfalls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zwei herauf, einer hinunter:<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
Drei Grafiken, die durch ihre Standfl\u00e4che und ihr ge\u00e4tztes Relief auf Papier gedruckt wurden.<\/span>
Sie wurden in einem handgefertigten Holzrahmen mit absichtlichen Gebrauchsspuren wie Kratzer und rauer Oberfl\u00e4che platziert.<\/span>
Die Spitzen sind nicht nur Spitzen, sondern auch Navigatoren, die durch ihre unterschiedlichen Schr\u00e4glagen verschiedene Richtungen zeigen.<\/span>
Die Grafiken treten der Skulptur gegen\u00fcber und korrespondieren mit ihr in einem offenen Erz\u00e4hlzusammenhang.<\/span>
Der Titel deutet eine Geschichte an \u2013 zwei herauf, einer hinunter.<\/span>
Ein offenes Narrativ, das weitergedacht werden darf.<\/span><\/p>\n

In der Gruppenausstellung WINTER SELECTION<\/em><\/strong>, kuratiert von Guinchi, zeige ich eine Serie von Skulpturen und Grafiken, in denen ich mich mit Materialit\u00e4t, Gebrauchsspuren und dem Symbol des Kreuzes auseinandersetze. Mich interessiert, wie sich menschliche Spuren in Oberfl\u00e4chen einschreiben, wie Patina zu einem Tr\u00e4ger von Erinnerung wird und welche Bedeutung Objekte in neuen Kontexten annehmen k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Das Kreuz taucht in meinen Arbeiten immer wieder auf \u2013 als Symbol f\u00fcr Rettung, Heilung und Schutz, aber auch f\u00fcr Leiden und Zerfall. Dabei fasziniert mich besonders die Verbindung zum Roten Kreuz als weltweitem Zeichen f\u00fcr humanit\u00e4re Hilfe. Ich hinterfrage, was Heilung in einem zwischenmenschlichen und gesellschaftlichen Sinne bedeutet und welche Spuren Verletzungen, aber auch ihre Verarbeitung hinterlassen.<\/span>
[Das Deutsche Rote Kreuz rettet Menschen, hilft in Notlagen, bietet eine Gemeinschaft, unterst\u00fctzt bed\u00fcrftige Menschen und setzt sich f\u00fcr das humanit\u00e4re V\u00f6lkerrecht in Deutschland und weltweit ein.]<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Meine Skulpturen bestehen aus Metall, Glas und Materialien mit deutlichen Alterungsspuren. Sie wirken wie Relikte einer unbekannten Geschichte, Fundst\u00fccke, die an Vergangenes erinnern und dennoch eine neue Bedeutung erhalten. Besonders spannend finde ich den Kontrast zwischen rostigem, gealtertem Metall und klinisch wirkenden Elementen aus Edelstahl \u2013 eine Gegen\u00fcberstellung von Zerfall und Konservierung, von Wunden und m\u00f6glichen Heilungsprozessen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Auch in meinen Grafiken setze ich mich mit diesen Themen auseinander. Die reduzierten Formen erinnern an anatomische Studien oder kartografische Zeichen \u2013 als versuche ich, eine Art Kartografie der Heilung zu entwerfen.<\/span>
Mit meinen Arbeiten stelle ich Fragen zur M\u00f6glichkeit von Heilung, zur Zukunft von Beziehungen und zur Rolle ikonografischer Symbole in unserer Wahrnehmung. Mich interessiert, wie wir mit dem Gedanken auf Besserung und Zerfall reagieren und wie genau wir Religion damit einbeziehen als Heilungsquelle.<\/span><\/p>\n

VOM <\/span><\/strong><\/span>RITUELLEN UMGANG MIT ERINNERUNG<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Im Umgang mit Erinnerung begegnet man nicht selten Fotografien, die als Momentaufnahmen und Familienportr\u00e4ts in Fotoalben, an K\u00fchlschr\u00e4nken oder an Wohnw\u00e4nden wiederzufinden sind. Dieser Akt des Bewahrens gemeinsamer Erlebnisse und menschlicher Beziehungen durch das Platzieren von Fotos in der privaten und allt\u00e4glichen Umgebung f\u00fchrt zu einem eher unbewussten und beil\u00e4ufigen Erinnerungsprozess. Weniger handelt es sich dabei um eine aktive Erinnerungspraxis, die einer gemeinschaftlich vollzogenen Vergewisserung der eigenen Identit\u00e4t, Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit und Geschichte dient.Die Fotografie ist seit ihrer Etablierung als Massenmedium wesentlicher Bestandteil kollektiven wie privaten Gedenkens. Einen besonderen Stellenwert nimmt dabei die Post-mortem-Fotografie ein, die als Brauch im Totenkult des sp\u00e4ten 19. Jahrhunderts Verbreitung fand. Durch das Ablichten von Verstorbenen \u2013 meist Angeh\u00f6rigen \u2013 in teilweise sogar lebensechten Inszenierungen wurden die Toten dem Verwesungsprozess enthoben und in ein dauerhaftes Andenken \u00fcberf\u00fchrt, das unter anderem in Medaillons und Schreinen aufbewahrt wurde. Diese Praxis zeugt von einer Dialektik zwischen Leben und Tod \u2013 zwar bildet die Fotografie den Leichnam ab, repr\u00e4sentiert aber den Menschen vor seinem Ableben.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mit der Bilderflut im digitalen Zeitalter hat sich auch der Umgang mit dem Medium Fotografie ver\u00e4ndert \u2013 nicht nur das Konsumverhalten, auch die Art und Weise, wie Erinnerungen bewahrt werden und welchen Stellenwert die Fotografie in diesem Zusammenhang nach wie vor einnimmt. Was ist heute folglich noch erinnerungsw\u00fcrdig? <\/span>

<\/span>In <\/span>MEMORIALS<\/span> trifft die f\u00fcr uns heute makabre Totenfotografie und der Schrein als Erinnerungsort und Andachtsobjekt auf die aktuelle Verf\u00fcgbarkeit oder vielmehr das \u00dcberangebot von Bildmaterial. So reicht das Spektrum der ausgew\u00e4hlten Bilder vom Kinderfoto \u00fcber Schnappsch\u00fcsse von allt\u00e4glichen Situationen und Objekten bis zu B\u00fcrokratischen Pl\u00e4nen, die den Umgang mit Erinnerung behandeln und somit ein emotionalen Ritus zu einer kalten Geste transformieren.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bestehend im Format 22 \u00d7 30 cm ist die Serie <\/span>MEMORIAL<\/span>S in unterschiedlichen Verfahren ausgef\u00fchrt: mal pr\u00e4zise ausgearbeitet und lackiert, mal verkohlt, mal roh belassen oder gewachst. Im Zentrum steht unser Umgang mit Erinnerung sowie die mitunter fehlgeleiteten Formen ihrer Konservierung.
Sie verweisen auf unsere fortw\u00e4hrende Suche nach Sinn und Erinnerung und werden durch ihre Inszenierung in einen neuen Kontext \u00fcberf\u00fchrt. Die Kerzen fungieren dabei nicht allein als Lichtquelle, sondern auch als partizipativer Gestus, der Mensch und Objekt miteinander in Beziehung setzt. Zwischen pers\u00f6nlicher N\u00e4he und fremder Projektion entsteht ein Zwischenraum, in dem Erinnerung nicht als Besitz erscheint, sondern als fortlaufender Prozess der Aneignung und Neubetrachtung. Die Arbeiten untersuchen, wie fotografische Bilder durch ihre materielle Einbettung an Gewicht gewinnen oder verlieren und wie sich unser Verh\u00e4ltnis zu ihnen ver\u00e4ndert, sobald sie aus dem fl\u00fcchtigen Bilderstrom herausgel\u00f6st werden.\u00a0<\/span>Foto und Objekt werden dabei als gleichwertige Bestandteile der Arbeit verstanden; eine hierarchische Unterscheidung zwischen beiden besteht nicht. Im Vordergrund steht weniger die handwerkliche Ausarbeitung als die Entstehung eines authentischen Konstrukts, das Geschichte, Momentum und Geist miteinander verkn\u00fcpft. Die handwerkliche Herstellung bildet zugleich eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Frage, welche Form dem fotografischen Inhalt angemessen ist und wie dessen Bedeutung materiell fortgef\u00fchrt werden kann. So kann ein Foto eines Familienmitglieds nach dessen Ableben ein Denkmal erhalten, das dessen Verst\u00e4ndnis von \u00c4sthetik aufgreift \u2013 etwa durch die Verwendung eines bevorzugten Holzes oder durch gestalterische Details, die auf das gelebte Leben verweisen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Das Andenken an eine Situation, eine Geschichte oder eine Person wird durch den Herstellungsprozess und die materielle Ausformung verdichtet und erneut hervorgehoben. Die Gestaltung des Objekts fungiert dabei nicht als blo\u00dfe Rahmung der Fotografie, sondern als Fortsetzung des Erinnerungsprozesses selbst. Erst im Zusammenspiel von Bild und Objekt entsteht jene Form der Pr\u00e4senz, die Erinnerung nicht allein bewahrt, sondern sie als Erfahrung aktualisiert. Durch Rahmung, Wiederholung und zeremonielle Aufladung wird das Objekt seiner urspr\u00fcnglichen Funktion enthoben und in einen Zustand der Betrachtung \u00fcberf\u00fchrt. Energie entsteht dabei nicht als unsichtbare Kraft, sondern als Verdichtung von Aufmerksamkeit, Zeit und Projektion. Der Schrein konserviert Erinnerung nicht, sondern erzeugt die Bedingungen, unter denen sie immer wieder neu hervorgebracht werden kann. Was im Alltag beil\u00e4ufig erscheint, wird im Schrein zum Tr\u00e4ger von Geschichte. Ich lade dazu ein, an diesem Prozess teilzunehmen und eine Kerze f\u00fcr heute anzuz\u00fcnden. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ich betrachte meine grafische Werkserei „DAS ENDE SEHEN.“ <\/em><\/span>nicht getrennt von meinen skulpturalen Arbeiten. Vielmehr entstehen beide aus parallelen Denkprozessen. Formen von Denkm\u00e4lern, Gedenkst\u00e4tten und Monumenten werden in meiner Bildsprache aufgegriffen und durch Schnitte, Kratzer, Abrieb und Reibung ver\u00e4ndert. Dabei wird das Metall nicht nur Tr\u00e4ger des Bildes, sondern selbst zum Gegenstand der Arbeit: Seine Widerst\u00e4nde, Spuren und Verletzungen werden sichtbar.<\/p>\n

Die Bleche erscheinen wie fragmentierte oder replizierte Architekturen. Sie l\u00f6sen sich von ihrem urspr\u00fcnglichen Ma\u00dfstab und werden in eine abstrakte, pers\u00f6nliche Sprache \u00fcberf\u00fchrt. So entstehen Bilder, die zugleich als Vorzeichnungen, Erinnerungsbilder und mentale Skizzen meiner skulpturalen Praxis gelesen werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

In meinen Radierungen und Kaltnadelarbeiten treffen strenge Formen auf etwas zutiefst Pers\u00f6nliches. Kreuze, T\u00fcrme, Umrisse und Symmetrien kehren wieder, ohne zu eindeutigen Zeichen zu werden. Sie erscheinen vielmehr als Verdichtungen von Fragen nach Schutz, Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit und Erinnerung \u2013 nach dem, was bleibt, wenn ein Ort, ein K\u00f6rper oder eine Form bereits beginnt, sich aufzul\u00f6sen.<\/p>\n

BRUT<\/em> entfaltet sich als eine Philosophie des Zusammenkommens, die nicht im Abstrakten verbleibt, sondern sich materiell in die Objekte selbst einschreibt. Die installativen Elemente sind keine isolierten Einheiten, sondern Tr\u00e4ger eines gemeinsamen Zustands. Sie verweisen aufeinander, treten miteinander in Beziehung und bilden ein Gef\u00fcge, das \u00fcber das einzelne Objekt hinausweist. In ihnen liegt eine Vorstellung kollektiver Existenz, die sich weniger \u00fcber eindeutige Zuschreibungen als \u00fcber das Dazwischen, \u00fcber \u00dcberg\u00e4nge und Resonanzen erschlie\u00dft.<\/p>\n

Die Objekte erscheinen dabei zugleich funktional und entr\u00fcckt. Sie erinnern an Werkzeuge, an Konstruktionen mit einer bestimmten Zweckbindung, entziehen sich jedoch einer eindeutigen Nutzung. Gerade in dieser Ambivalenz entsteht ein Raum der Deutung, in dem der Umgang mit den Dingen selbst zu einer Form des Lesens wird. Gebrauch hinterl\u00e4sst Spuren \u2013 reale wie imaginierte<\/em> \u2013 und l\u00e4sst die Objekte als Relikte erscheinen: als \u00dcberreste eines Prozesses, der nicht abgeschlossen ist, sondern sich im Gebrauch und in der Rezeption fortsetzt.<\/p>\n

BRUT<\/em> versteht Gemeinschaft nicht als festes Gef\u00fcge, sondern als offenen und fortw\u00e4hrenden Prozess. Das Zusammenkommen geschieht hier nicht nur zwischen Menschen, sondern ebenso zwischen Material, Raum und Handlung. Die seriellen und wiederholbaren Strukturen verweisen auf etwas Kollektives, beinahe Industrielles, und tragen zugleich eine fragile, beinahe intime Dimension in sich. In dieser Spannung entsteht eine Form von Verbundenheit, die nicht auf Einheit im Sinne von Gleichheit zielt, sondern auf ein Nebeneinander von Differenzen.<\/p>\n

So werden die Objekte zu Tr\u00e4gern eines kollektiven Ged\u00e4chtnisses, das sich im Gebrauch einschreibt und im Betrachten immer wieder neu aktiviert wird. Sie sind stille Zeugen eines gemeinsamen Werdens \u2013 roh, offen und unabschlie\u00dfend. Ihre Bedeutung liegt deshalb nicht allein in dem, was sie sind, sondern auch in dem, was zwischen ihnen, den Menschen und dem Raum entsteht. Zusammenkunft wird damit nicht als erreichter Zustand verstanden, sondern als eine Praxis, die sich in jeder neuen Begegnung erneut bildet.<\/p>\n
